We are all very excited about the launch of our new day service for young adults up to 25 years old.
This service will be based upstairs (the company who rented the offices have now vacated) and will run on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday in conjunction with our services for children.
For the first year we will offer ten places per day and at the time of writing we have five young adults waiting to start.

Activities will include life skills such as shopping, cooking, gardening, computer and internet skills, photography, art and crafts, music and dance to name a few.
Many parents have been asking about services for when their children reached 18 and so we started looking into what was available. The biggest shock to us was that suddenly, our children are thrown into the ‘adult world’ where their peers would be aged up to 65! There is nothing available exclusively for young adults to bridge the harshness of transition into adult services.
Because of the successful services we already provide we were confident that we could do better - provide a service which was suitably ‘adult’ offering life skills, but which also would be fun, and delivered in a safe environment by caring staff.

If you or anyone you know is interested in this service please contact Jayne or Sarah – places will be limited and we already have lots of names for July 2010, But don’t worry Spring Centre children will be given priority.
