About us The Spring Centre

Our History

Founded by a group of seven parents who had children with additional needs in 1994, The Spring Centre started as a children’s service. But with no place for the children to go as they grew up, a day care centre was added for 16- to 25-year-olds, later increasing to 35 years.

Aims and Values Our mission

We work in partnership with families, carers, and the wider community to create a safe, welcoming environment where people with additional needs and disabilities are supported to develop skills, build independence, and feel connected and valued.

Vision

Our wide range of services and activities, delivered in a warm and welcoming community environment and in partnership with families, supporters, and the wider community, provide meaningful experiences and opportunities that support people with additional needs and disabilities to reach their full potential, strengthen independence, and thrive.

Quality Care and Support

We provide high‑quality, inclusive support in a warm and welcoming environment, delivered by experienced and trained staff who understand the diverse physical, emotional, and communication needs of people with additional needs and disabilities, and their families.

Respect and Trust

We support individuals and families to understand their abilities, develop their potential, and grow in confidence within a safe and welcoming environment. We treat everyone with dignity and respect, value diversity, and provide consistent, inclusive support for all who seek our services.
