Our Sensory Room is a calm, immersive space designed to support children and young people—particularly those with sensory processing disorders, autism, or anxiety. The room combines soothing lights, gentle sounds, tactile elements, and interactive features to create a wonderfully therapeutic environment. It encourages relaxation, sensory exploration, and emotional regulation in a safe, comfortable setting.
Facilities
Interactive Snow Panel
Artificial snowflakes gently swirl inside the panel. Users can press buttons to change colours and control the fan speed, creating a magical visual experience.
Interactive Bubble Panel
Children can choose their favourite colours while music plays softly in the background. They can also control multiple bubble streams to create a mesmerising sensory display.
LED Projectors
These project calming, moving images onto the walls, helping to create a tranquil, soothing atmosphere ideal for relaxation.
Interactive LED Fibre Optics
Super‑safe plastic fibre optic strands light up in vibrant colours, encouraging reaching, gripping, and fine motor play as children explore the effects.
Interactive Rhapsody Panel
This sound‑responsive panel rewards vocalisations and noises with colourful lights. Changes in pitch create changes in the visual display, offering a fun and engaging cause‑and‑effect activity.
Interactive Bubble Tub
The bubble tub promotes visual tracking, colour recognition, and hand‑eye coordination. With eight colours available, it creates a calming sensory focus point within the room.
Rainbow Vibration Bumpas (Set of 6 Cushions)
With a simple press, each cushion activates vibration and gentle sound, providing soothing sensory feedback that many children find grounding and comforting.
